Dewey Decibal

Dewey Decibal and the Dropouts!

This is the new project put together for the Library Bar and Grill in Tempe, on Mill and 5th.

The staff is a whole lot of fun, the manager has been cool and exited about this new act. It is not Metalhead but everyone is exited to see what the new band has in store for Tempe.

Solid sets full of great material. Dewey and Monique make a great front and we are all having a good time.

I hope to see this turn out to be Tempe's #1 Thursday hotspot. See what the buzz is about.
Acoustic sets start this week at 7:30 for a customer appreciation event and Dewey Decibal takes the stage as a full band at 10-1.

This is one show you do not want to miss!

New Website up and running

Okay, I am still putting the final touches on this thing and probably will always be in a perpetual update mode but the site is functional and set up to deliver all of the content that I want to have available to my students, fans, and friends.

www.AaronBland.com

That is the ticket, I hope to use this blog as a part of the website to include personal things, and will use the site primarily as a drumming and learning resource. I hope to develop both of these and make information available to everyone interested in performance, recording, arts, and the music business.

First Published Method Book

I am proud to announce that I will soon be publishing the first of 4 Method Books called "Wielding the Sticks". This is an introductory method book on sight reading, rudimental techniques, and snare solos. The finishing touches are being made to simultaneously release an online version with multi-media content as well as a printed version. Stay tuned for the release in early 2009.
